Overview
Short version: Mac Click is a self-contained learning page that runs entirely in your browser. It requests no permissions, makes no network requests, and stores no data. No servers, no accounts, no tracking.
What we collect
Nothing is sent anywhere. Mac Click does not collect, transmit, or sell any data. It does not read the pages you visit, your browsing history, or your bookmarks. There are no servers, no accounts, no cookies, and no analytics.
It does not even save settings. Mac Click keeps nothing between sessions, and the interface language is read fresh from your browser each time you open it.
How the extension works
Mac Click is a single page bundled inside the extension. When you click the toolbar icon, that page opens in a new tab. It draws a keyboard, shows which keys a shortcut uses, and lets you practice by tapping the keys or pressing them on your own keyboard.
The key detection in practice mode listens only on Mac Click's own page. It cannot see anything you type on other websites, because the extension has no access to them.
Permissions
Mac Click requests no permissions at all. It has no access to your tabs, your history, your bookmarks, or the content of any website. The only thing it can open is its own page.
Network and third-party services
Mac Click makes no network requests. The interface, the keyboard, the shortcut data, and the fonts are all packaged inside the extension, so nothing is fetched from the web. It works the same with your connection off.
There are no remote scripts and no tracking. Mac Click does not use Google Analytics, Sentry, Mixpanel, or any other analytics or telemetry.
Children's privacy
Mac Click is not directed at children under 13. Because the extension does not collect or transmit any data, no specific compliance procedures are required.
